DUBL TRUBL film starring Aeon
Aeon in Sri Lanka from Dubl Trubl on Vimeo.
Ahead of the DUBL TRUBL Collective exhibition they have released this short film feature graffiti artist AEON who will also have work in their upcoming show, below are some words from AEON about the clip.
"On my honeymoon in Sri Lanka, I found some time to fit in a bit of painting on the south coast of the island while my wife was happily poolside catching some rays. Armed with a bucket of paint, a few spray cans, a camera and tripod I found a sweet little spot in an abandoned hotel still standing after being battered by the 2004 Tsunami."
The DUBL TRUBL Collective's first exhibition is taking place in Berlin this September. Entitled DUBL TRUBL: Ich bin in Berlin, the collective have paired together artists from all over the globe, resulting in an incomparable assemblage of collaborative works. Styles will get clashed and egos smashed as these distinguished art deadbeats inspire and repel each other in equal measure.

Ceremony: Liam Hodges × James Pearson-Howes
'Ceremony,' a new show by menswear designer Liam Hodges and photographer James Pearson-Howes hosted at Ditto Press. The show opened on Thursday but runs until the 24th August so plenty of time to catch it.
'Ceremony' brings together their creative output in a wholly original way, looking at the iconography of British folk rituals and the aesthetics of these ancient ceremonies in a modern world. The show will be a mixture of new and archive material, drawing parallels between their work, creating a space for dialogue between the garments, prints, images and video.

Same But Different’ - A two-man show with Darren John & VENTS137
Having spent a wealth of time producing ephemeral works together in a wide array of abandoned, derelict and often unloved spaces, the two have developed very distinct and identifiable styles from a melting pot of similar inspirations.
‘Same But Different’ aims to draw attention to the different outcomes of two individuals who are inspired and immersed in the same subcultures and interests. The show opens on the 7th August at 6:30pm at The Graffiti Life Gallery and will run until 31st August 2014.
Opening Night – 7th August 6.30pm. RSVP to gallery@graffitilife.co.uk
Drinks will be provided at the opening courtesy of Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

@BOXPARK presents... #WILLPRINCEART
Despite the buzz he's earned with his current work, Will doesn't want to be known as the guy who just draws rappers. Will uses his own technique of drawing and computer graphics to make his stunning pieces. His work is very expressive and his lines in the work seem to have a life of their own, which create exaggerated yet real portraits.
You can catch Will’s work @BOXPARK from the 1st September and on Thursday 4th September from 7pm on the upper deck he will be throwing a launch party to celebrate. Expect some very special guests, complementary drinks and the chance to win a signed piece of art from the man himself!
Boxpark, 2 - 10 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6GY
