Go Hard Or Go Home at The Rag Factory

Often self taught and with a healthy disregard for the ‘rules’, today’s most influential and exciting artists haven’t tread the traditional gallery path to success. Instead they come from a host of seemingly diverse and unorthodox backgrounds; Street Art, Graffiti, Rave, Skateboarding, Film, Design and Fashion.

Each drawing on these essentially DIY and typically outsider cultures to produce unique work that has made these artists must haves in prestigious collections across the globe; Go Hard Or Go Home exists to highlight the global reach of these acclaimed artists, showcasing new work from both it’s established players and the newer emerging artists.

The show is curated by J Patrick Boyle. Founder of Bristol’s acclaimed Steal From Work collective, he himself has a diverse art practice and first became involved in the art that emerged from the rave scene of the early 1990′s. He has chosen a group of established and emerging artists linked by their ‘non-traditional’ routes to art fame but also by the boldness and exciting nature of their work.
