Having had the most amazing successful year in 2012, exhibiting in Australia, Europe & Asia, Christian Palmer comes to London in January to present his very first UK solo show at Graffik Gallery
Christian Palmer embraces the urban contemporary genre from a kind of mongrel fine art perspective. His work is a culmination of many years in the creative arts ranging from graphics and illustration to painting and stencil art. Current work has been influenced by the street art movement, the death of his dog and working with kids. It is from the vantage point of an outsider he reflects on our preconceptions and poses questions about the human condition. Canvas, wood, street scapes and screenprints are all used to communicate lyrical art works, using a child's writing, the most elementary graffiti.
