Don’t expect jingling bells,
carol singers or a Santa’s Grotto this year at Signal for Christmas.
After a year of jubilees and twinkling medals, they really felt the need
to redress the balance with something not festive at all. They have asked
their resident Punk legend Gaye Black (aka Gaye Advert), who’s always in
favour of a good dollop of the dark side, to curate this one with
malice.
All the artists in the show
have been given strict instructions not to have a good time and have
been chosen for their penchant for the quirky anyway. Expect the worst! More details and a full line-up of the artist taking part can be found over on the event Facebook page here.
At the private view Thursday, 29 November 2012, the fabulous steam punk band ‘The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing’ will be performing a politely riotous set.
Private view 29th November 6 - 9pm- Open 30th November - 21st December Signal Gallery - 32 Paul Street - London - EC2A 4LB
