‘Paper is my material of choice nowadays, and I have come to really appreciate its capacity to take any given form. It’s an incredibly flexible material that in recent years has taken centre stage in modern visual communication, and it’s a privilege to be a part of that.’ — Andrew Macgregor.
For this particular project Macgregor has drawn influence from artists such as Peter Blake who is most famously known for the sleeve he created for the Beatles album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Dabbling in pop art, his creations were often vivid and eccentric. As well as Blake, Macgregor has looked to Herbert Bayer’s art, which spanned many forms and he was considered to be the last living member of the Bauhaus art movement.
